Streusel Kuchen

Streuselkuchen is a German specialty. Traditionally it is made of a yeast dough, but our individual version is a cookie pastry made with two layers of shortbread sugar cookie dough. One layer is topped with a sweet crumb topping and the filling is our European vanilla buttercream.
