Persian Rolls


One of our bakery's famous and original pastries from the 1960s. It is baked out of soft sweet dough swirled with cinnamon and topped with our signature vanilla buttercream and nuts. Legend has it the name comes from General Pershing who loved donuts with cream and nuts. His donuts were called Pershings and now Persians, which could also be a reference to their oval, swirl cinnamon design, like a Persian rug. We keep Persians topped and ready to go everyday.
